Layer house, Mergentaler gallery, hosted the first Slovenian festival of contemporary collage. From 29th of June to 14th of August a set of artistic events changed the Kranj old town into a multilayered conglomerate of colours, ideas and variety of expressions. The main exhibition of KAOS Festival hosted contemporary collage artists which displayed the variety of understanding and use of collage technique on the international level.

4th Collagistas Festival - 2017 Milano,
36th participant of CF4 is SCHRIECK from Belgium. He did his first collage in 94 during his ending year of Political Sciences study at the University of Brussels. He has never stopped since. After living in Montreal (Québec), he settled down in France in 2006, deep in the french Alps mountains, as a graphic designer. He made his first collage exhibition in Annecy in 2008. In 2015, the National Air & Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution (Washington DC) awarded and featured one of his collage work. His collage are mostly the result of happy accidents and controlled chaos. But mainly he loves to explore techniques, shapes, styles and colours he never experienced before. He is addicted to the surprise of the final glue!
On this occasion, he will show an exclusive piece of artwork on the theme Beautiful Monsters.
